Job Scope

Foster a strong automotive quality culture at Ennovi by collaborating with regional and site quality leadership to enhance quality performance, reduce COPQ, and pursue Zero Defects. Establish and elevate processes to exceed automotive OEM requirements.

Key responsibilities

  • Build, lead and coach an overperforming quality team of Automotive expert encompassing Customer, Supplier, Plant, Advanced and System Quality.
  • To help develop and set quality goals for the 4 regions and provide directions to the leads to meet these goals.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive quality management system that meets or exceeds industry standards and customer expectations across the organization's global operations.
  • Develop and implement quality metrics to track and report on key performance indicators, including defect rates, customer satisfaction, and on-time delivery.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams across the organization's global operations to ensure that quality and lean principles are integrated into all aspects of the organization, from product design to production and delivery.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement across the organization, encouraging innovation, collaboration, and a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to quality management and lean manufacturing across all global operations.
  • To provide technical leadership especially connector experience to the sites to improve product quality and other quality related services.
  • To assist with the selection and recruitment of key positions in the Quality organisations in the sites.
  • To coach and provide guidance to the regional QA leads
  • To develop plans in strengthening the QA resources in the region.
  • To conduct regular quality audits on system, operations and products to ensure conformance to ISO/IATF Standards, internal specifications and other customer specific requirements.
  • To keep abreast of our customer Quality needs and develop plans to address these issues.
  • To share best practice across the sites and build synergy.
  • Own the company’s EOS System. Make it pragmatic and impactful.

Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities:

  • University degree in engineering, master’s degree preferred.
  • Over 15 years of experience in the automotive industry, with 5+ years in a leadership role focused on quality.
  • Proven ability to drive turnarounds by establishing robust structures and processes and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, effective in a matrix environment, and skilled at gaining buy-in from cross functional teams.
  • Demonstrated experience building and leading high-performing quality teams across global operations.
  • Lean & or Six Sigma Black Belt
  • CQE, CQM and Lead Assessor qualifications are preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex data and develop actionable insights across global operations.
  • Ability to lead and manage change in a fast-paced, dynamic environment across global operations.
  • Shows a high level of Accountability, Teamwork and Integrity.

Measurement of Success

  • Successful implementation of connector quality mindset in the sites.
  • Meeting Quality goals and making improvement on customer satisfaction indexes.
  • Successful certification to VDA6.3, IATF16949, ISO 9000, and ISO 14001 Standards according to planned schedule.
  • Timely completion of all planned Quality training and development activities.
  • Conducts Quality audits and assists the sites in improving the effectiveness of the overall quality systems.
