THIS POSITION IS BASED IN NORTH AMERICA OR EUROPE

CONTEXT

The Vice President, HR Transformation is a senior strategic leader responsible for advancing Sodexo’s global HR agenda through the design and leadership of transformation initiatives that harmonize regional practices into scalable, enterprise-wide solutions. This role is focused on redefining HR’s operating model, aligning global capabilities, and driving the convergence of disparate country-specific tools and processes into a unified, modern HR ecosystem.

Partnering with HR, IT, and business executives, this leader will shape and govern a global transformation roadmap that prioritizes business enablement, standardization, and employee experience. The operational execution of transformation activities is led by dedicated project delivery teams, allowing this role to remain focused on strategic alignment, program oversight, and future-state design.

MISSIONS

1. Global HR Transformation Strategy

  • Define and evolve Sodexo’s global HR transformation vision, ensuring alignment with broader business strategy and future-of-work priorities.
  • Architect a unified HR operating model that drives standardization while accommodating necessary regional variation.
  • Govern a global roadmap for transformation, setting the strategic direction and prioritization of initiatives, including digital solutions and service delivery enhancements.

2. Strategic Governance & Alignment

  • Serve as a key interface between global and regional HR leadership to ensure cohesive, scalable transformation across the enterprise.
  • Establish decision-making frameworks, escalation paths, and accountability structures to enable successful global adoption and integration.
  • Guide policy, process, and design decisions to maintain strategic alignment across regions and functions.

3. Enterprise Enablement & Capability Development

  • Champion the global deployment of integrated HR technologies such as SAP SuccessFactors, with a focus on enabling business agility, data-driven decision-making, and workforce empowerment.
  • Align HR transformation with enterprise capabilities including shared services, automation, and employee self-service.
  • Foster internal capabilities across HR and IT to sustain transformation momentum beyond initial implementations.

4. Executive Engagement & Change Sponsorship

  • Lead cross-functional engagement with senior stakeholders to build coalition and sponsorship for strategic change.
  • Shape the narrative and communication strategy to drive adoption and reinforce the value proposition of global transformation.
  • Serve as an ambassador for HR innovation and enterprise collaboration.

5. Leadership & Influence

  • Build and lead a global team of strategic transformation professionals, with a focus on program design, stakeholder alignment, and cross-regional integration.
  • Cultivate a culture of forward-thinking, continuous improvement, and shared accountability.
  • Mentor future HR leaders and strengthen organizational resilience to ongoing change.

PROFILE

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in HR transformation, organizational design, or enterprise program leadership in a global organization.
  • Deep expertise in HR strategy, HR operating models, and transformational change.
  • Proven success shaping and overseeing global HRIS and service delivery transformations, ideally including SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Track record of aligning complex stakeholder groups and driving executive-level alignment.
  • Strong executive presence, influence, and communication skills across cultural and organizational boundaries.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree, MBA, or relevant certifications (e.g., Prosci, PMP) strongly preferred.
