THIS POSITION IS BASED IN NORTH AMERICA OR EUROPE

CONTEXT

The Vice President, HR Shared Services is a senior HR operations leader responsible for the design, execution, and continuous improvement of Sodexo’s global HR Shared Services organization. This role will lead the delivery of efficient, compliant, and high-quality HR services across all regions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and employee experience goals.

The VP will oversee the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding, leveraging global process standardization, automation, self-service, and regional service delivery hubs to scale support and drive transformation across the enterprise.

MISSIONS

1. Strategic Leadership of HR Shared Services

  • Lead the strategy, development, and execution of the global HR Shared Services model, ensuring operational excellence and service scalability.
  • Partner with global and regional HR, Finance, IT, and business leaders to align service delivery with strategic workforce priorities.
  • Develop a strong service culture, with a focus on employee experience, responsiveness, and continuous improvement.

2. End-to-End HR Service Delivery

Oversee service delivery in the following functional areas:

  • Onboarding & Offboarding
  • Employee Data Management & Changes
  • HR Operations & Administration
  • Global Mobility Services
  • Compensation & Benefits Support
  • Case Management / Tier 1 HR Helpdesk
  • HR Compliance & Document Management
  • HR Reporting & Analytics

3. Service Operations & Governance

  • Design and manage a multi-tiered service delivery model that includes regional shared service centers, global centers of excellence, and outsourced/offshore resources.
  • Define and monitor SLAs, KPIs, and operational dashboards to measure service quality and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with global data privacy, employment regulations, and audit requirements.

4. Process Optimization & Automation

  • Drive process standardization and automation, including integration of self-service tools and AI-powered service platforms (e.g., chatbots, case deflection).
  • Partner with IT and HRIS teams to optimize platforms like SAP SuccessFactors, ADP, and case management systems (e.g., Neocase, Ivanti).

5. Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead a global team of HR shared services professionals, building strong leadership and operational capability at all levels.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, performance, and service excellence.
  • Support professional development and succession planning within the HR operations function.

PROFILE

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in HR shared services, HR operations, or service delivery within a global organization.
  • Proven track record managing multi-regional or global HR service centers, with deep understanding of tiered service models.
  • Strong knowledge of HR technology platforms (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, ADP, Kronos/UKG, case management systems).
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process transformation, automation, and digital innovation.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships and outsourcing partnerships.
  • Exceptional analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or MBA preferred
