Energy Jobline ATTB in the United States seeks a Vice President, Environmental to lead growth in environmental services and serve as a strategic market leader across the Houston region. You will mentor teams, originate opportunities, and strengthen client and agency relationships to expand the environmental practice.

The role requires strong technical credibility, senior advisory capabilities, and the ability to align offerings with client needs while partnering with executives and service lines

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Geosciences, Environmental Engineering, Planning, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
  • Professional certification or licensure such as AICP, PG, PE, PMP, or another relevant environmental credential.
  • Proven success leading environmental projects, teams, client relationships, and business development initiatives.
  • Established network of developers, municipalities, public agencies, industrial and energy clients, infrastructure owners, consultants, contractors, and industry stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations, permitting processes, agency coordination, compliance, and project delivery.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, relationship-building, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with overtime, travel, and client or industry commitments as needed.

Responsabilités

  • Lead strategic growth efforts for the company's environmental services in Houston and throughout the region.
  • Identify, cultivate, and convert environmental consulting opportunities with developers, municipalities, public agencies, industrial and energy clients, infrastructure owners, and other key market participants.
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with clients, regulatory agencies, referral partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor on major pursuits, including client positioning, teaming, technical approach, pricing, and risk considerations.
  • Provide senior oversight and guidance for environmental projects involving planning, permitting, compliance, remediation, natural resources, infrastructure, and related services.
  • Partner with project managers and technical teams to ensure alignment between scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk, and profitability.
  • Support project financial performance, including forecasting, utilization, backlog, invoicing, margin management, change management, and closeout activities.
  • Mentor and develop environmental project managers and emerging leaders.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership, operations, marketing, finance, and other service lines to align growth initiatives with company objectives.
  • Represent the company in strategic client meetings, regulatory discussions, industry associations, and other market-facing settings.

Vice President, Environmental

The Vice President, Environmental is a senior leadership role responsible for advancing the company's environmental services and growth strategy across the Houston market. This position will serve as a strategic market leader, senior client advisor, technical resource, and internal mentor, helping expand the environmental practice, deepen client relationships, originate new opportunities, and strengthen the company's position as a trusted consulting partner. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical credibility, client and agency relationships, business development discipline, project delivery expertise, and strategic judgment. The Vice President, Environmental will work closely with executive leadership, project managers, technical teams, and other service lines to identify and convert opportunities while developing the next of environmental leaders.

Key Responsibilities

Performance Expectations

Success in this role will be measured by the Vice President's ability to create measurable value through environmental practice growth, client development, project performance, and leadership impact. Key expectations include:

  • Origination and conversion of new environmental opportunities consistent with established revenue and backlog goals.
  • Growth of the company's environmental presence and market share in Houston and throughout the region.
  • Strong financial performance across assigned projects, including effective management of scope, budget, schedule, utilization, backlog, margin, and risk.
  • Successful development and mentoring of environmental project managers and emerging leaders.
  • Strengthening the company's reputation as a trusted environmental consulting partner.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Geosciences, Environmental Engineering, Planning, or a related field required; master's degree .15+ years of progressive experience in environmental consulting, planning, permitting, compliance, remediation, natural resources, infrastructure, or related professional services.

  • Professional certification or licensure such as AICP, PG, PE, PMP, or another relevant environmental credential
  • Demonstrated success leading environmental projects, teams, client relationships, and business development initiatives.
  • Proven ability to originate and convert environmental consulting opportunities.
