Are you a corporate associate with private equity experience looking to work for one of the leading global private equity law firms? My client is currently looking to hire an associate to join their private equity team in their Paris office. This is certainly a firm to have on your CV if you wish to work in this field with the best clientele in the industry and receive first-class remuneration, ongoing career development and training.A US law firm originally, it now boasts offices across multiple locations internationally together with a clientele base that spans the globe. It is consistently ranked by all of the usual legal commentators for its prowess in funds and private equity furthermore.This law firm has had an office in Paris for a little over five years, making a solid imprint in private equity matters as governed by French law, and including many cross-border and international deals throughout Europe. It works very closely with its sister-offices in Europe, particularly in London where it provides significant assistance to the firm's operations there.You will be between 1-3 years qualified (although the firm will consider a newly qualified lawyer with private equity experience from a leading firm) under a recognized legal bar association, with solid experience gained from a notable law firm that practices in the private equity or funds arena with solid corporate M&A experience also. As part of your experience so far you will be familiar with the full life-cycle of a fund, from formation and fundraising through growth equity transactions, leveraged buyouts, going-private transactions, and recapitalizations, to dispositions and exits.Fluency in the French language would be useful but is not mandatory and any applications from abroad must have a genuine reason for wanting to move to Paris.In exchange, the successful candidate(s) will receive an excellent remuneration package, access to the best work in the industry, ongoing mentorship by the best legal leaders in the industry, and guaranteed career progression throughout the ranks to Partnership, quicker than at other firms in the legal market.
