You will join Group Procurement & Sourcing division. Our mission is to increase AXA Group competitiveness by optimizing the end-to-end Procurement cycle of external spend (excluding Insurance procurement), while building a high-performance and risk-managed supplier base. We have a global and entity Procurement presence with two mandates:

As Group, we:

• Leverage our purchasing power through global deals & key supplier relationship management
• Define & share Group vendor risk framework & outsourcing policies
• Provide and manage global Procurement tools
• Engage the Procurement community worldwide

As Group Operations (GO), we:

• Optimize external spend by managing categories and suppliers, and challenging demand to support AXA GO strategy
• Drive vendor risk framework and policies at AXA GO to ensure compliance with Group regulations (DORA, Solvency 2)
• Develop GO procurement processes and implement global & local Procurement tools
• Develop responsible Procurement aligned with GO Sustainability guidelines

You will be part of the GO Vendor Risk Management team within GO Procurement Performance & Operations.

Job purpose

As Vendor Risk Lead, your main objectives are to:

• Design and implement a disruptive vendor management framework for AXA Group Operations based on key objectives:
• Enhance operational excellence and simplicity,
• Decide based on data
• Manage all activities related to risk mitigation.

Main missions

Your responsibilities include:

• Leading the transformation of Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) to a new process aligned with Group guidelines
• Simplifying processes while ensuring customer satisfaction
• Developing GO capabilities with SMEs in Legal, Data Privacy, Compliance, Information Security, Operational Resilience, and Risk
• Supporting process setup: organizational implementation, operating model design, and review of internal processes with a focus on simplification
• Implementing new risk management tools: qualifying, centralizing, prioritizing user requests, and liaising with IT, representing user needs during the study phase
• Defining change management strategies and training key stakeholders and the GO Procurement community; deploying ESG due diligence processes
• Establishing guidelines and processes for ongoing vendor risk monitoring
• Conducting external benchmarking and promoting cross-functional collaboration where appropriate
• Enhancing the AXA GO Procurement experience by defining sourcing journeys, roles, and responsibilities
• Developing and scaling a new process and Target Operating Model for potential deployment in other entities
• Managing vendor risks during transformation, leading risk processes within sourcing and vendor risk committees
• Co-designing and leading the implementation of regulations impacting GO procurement, notably DORA, as project manager
• Supporting regulatory interactions regarding GO/group vendors and leading annual procurement-related reporting (ISAF, outsourcing, etc.)
• Collaborating with the GO Risk Team to assess risks, follow mitigation plans, and improve risk profiles
• Representing GO Vendor Risk in relevant communities and stakeholder groups

Stakeholder collaboration includes working closely with buyers, sourcing partners, legal, risk, and audit experts. Team management involves overseeing 1-2 direct reports and 3-4 off-shored resources based in India.

We are seeking someone with over 10 years of experience in a matrix, international environment, including at least 5 years in risk management, with knowledge of vendor risk management and procurement awareness as assets. Technical skills include risk management methodologies, project management, and proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint. Fluency in English is required; French or Spanish is a plus.
