You will join Group Procurement & Sourcing division. Our mission is to increase AXA Group competitiveness by optimizing the end-to-end Procurement cycle of external spend (excluding Insurance procurement), while building a high performance and risk-managed supplier base. We have a global and entity Procurement presence with two mandates:
As Group, we:
- Leverage our purchasing power through global deals & key supplier relationship management
- Define & share Group vendor risk framework & outsourcing policies
- Provide and manage global Procurement tools
- Engage the Procurement community worldwide
As Group Operations (GO), we:
- Optimize external spend by managing categories and suppliers, challenging demand to support AXA GO strategy
- Drive vendor risk framework and policies at AXA GO to ensure compliance with Group regulations (DORA, Solvency 2)
- Develop GO procurement processes and implement global & local Procurement tools
- Develop responsible Procurement aligned with GO Sustainability guidelines

You will be part of the GO Vendor Risk Management team within GO Procurement Performance & Operations.

Job purpose
As Vendor Risk Lead, your main objectives are to:
- Design and implement a disruptive vendor management framework for AXA Group Operations, focusing on:
- Improving operational excellence and simplicity,
- Empowering decision-making through data
And to:
- Manage all activities related to risk mitigation.
Main missions
Your responsibilities include:
- Leading the transformation of Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) by reviewing and designing processes based on Group guidelines
- Simplifying processes while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Developing GO capabilities with Subject Matter Experts in Legal, Data Privacy, Compliance, Information Security, Resilience, and Risk
- Supporting process setup, organizational implementation, and internal process review with a focus on simplification
- Leading the implementation of new risk management tools for vendor risks, including prioritizing user requests and liaising with IT
- Defining change management strategies and training programs, including ESG due diligence
- Establishing guidelines and processes for ongoing vendor risk monitoring
- Conducting external benchmarking and promoting cross-functional collaboration
- Enhancing procurement experience by defining sourcing journeys and stakeholder responsibilities
- Developing scalable processes and Target Operating Models for potential rollout across other entities
- Managing existing vendor risk processes during transformation, leading risk committees
- Co-designing and leading the implementation of regulations like DORA, including project management
- Supporting regulatory compliance activities and vendor audits
- Collaborating with risk teams to analyze scenarios, monitor risk mitigation, and produce procurement KRIs
- Representing GO Vendor Risk in relevant communities and stakeholder groups
- Managing a team of 1-2 direct reports and 3-4 offshore resources based in India
Your Profile
We seek candidates with:
- Over 10 years of professional experience in matrix and international environments, including at least 5 years in risk management
- Experience in Vendor Risk management and procurement awareness is advantageous
Technical skills include:
- Experience with Risk Management methodologies and technologies
- Project/program management skills with a focus on change management
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Languages: Fluent in English; French or Spanish is a strong plus
Soft skills include:
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
- Change management and transformation skills
- Hands-on approach with practical results focus
- Analytical, synthesizing, and decision-making abilities
