Responsabilités

  • Review technical documentation from subcontractors during the EPC phases.
  • Provide technical support for Non-Conformance Report (NCR) resolutions.
  • Offer support for quality control managers in resolving technical issues.
  • Participate in key technical meetings and site visits.

Location: Lyon, France
Contract duration: 10 months (renewable)
Set up: Monday to Friday (Office-Based with Occasional Site Visits)

Role Overview:
Join our dynamic team as a Vendor Documentation & Quality Control Engineer in Lyon, France. This is a fantastic opportunity to ensure the quality and compliance of pressure vessels and piping systems for a leading player in the energy sector. You will work closely with technical teams and suppliers, contributing to a project at the cutting edge of energy technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspection & Documentation: Review technical documentation from subcontractors during the EPC phases and ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ASME, ISO). Draft Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and Quality Control Plans (FQCPs).
  • Quality Assurance: Provide technical support for Non-Conformance Report (NCR) resolutions and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
  • Technical Support: Offer support for quality control managers and field engineers in resolving technical issues related to Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).
  • Collaboration: Participate in key technical meetings (kick-off, pre-inspection) and site visits when required. Proactively collaborate with engineering, suppliers, and contractors to resolve issues.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of design and manufacturing codes for pressure vessels, piping, and structural fabrication.
  • Familiarity with NDE standards (RT, UT, MT, PT, VT) and material fabrication processes.
  • Expertise in international codes (e.g., ASME, EN, ISO, AWS, ASTM).
  • Proven experience in drafting inspection documents (ITPs, FQCPs, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly resolve technical issues.
Education & Experience:
  • Education: Engineering degree (Bac +5) in relevant field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years in inspection or quality assurance within the energy sector.
  • Language: Confirmed proficiency in English.
