Wind is seeking a Venture Capital Analyst Intern to join our investment team in Paris for January 2027. You will collaborate with experienced investors on sourcing, market research, due diligence, and portfolio support.

This internship offers hands-on experience across the VC workflow and chances to explore frontier technologies. You will work in a fast-paced environment, contribute to investment theses, and gain exposure to ESG initiatives and LP reporting.

Qualifications

• Current university student eligible for an internship with a convention de stage.
• Strong analytical and synthesis abilities are valued.
• Interest in deeptech and climate tech is a plus.

Wind is looking for a Venture Capital Analyst Intern to join our investment team in Paris for January 2027 and help us identify, evaluate, and support the most promising deeptech and climate tech startups in Europe.

You’ll work closely with our team of investors on every step of the process — from sourcing and market research to due diligence and portfolio support. This internship is a unique opportunity to dive deep into the VC world, explore frontier technologies, and play an active role in building a high-impact, high-conviction portfolio.

Tasks

As an intern on the investment team, you’ll be involved in every stage of the investment journey. Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:

Sourcing & Market Research

• Explore specific sectors in depth and map out the competitive landscape
• Review inbound opportunities and help identify the most promising startups
• Attend ecosystem events and grow meaningful relationships with founders and other investors

Dealflow & Investment Analysis

• Take part in due diligence and support key steps in the evaluation process
• Write clear, insightful investment memos and internal recommendations
• Help the team prepare for discussions and investment committee meetings

Portfolio Support & Internal Projects

• Assist in monitoring how portfolio companies are doing and support LP reporting
• Contribute to ongoing strategic work—whether that’s building out investment theses, experimenting with AI tools, or supporting ESG initiatives

• Have experience in fast-paced, demanding environments—like VC, startups, M&A, strategy consulting, engineering, research, product, or data

CONDITIONS

• Duration : 6 months
  → Ideally suited for students in the final year of their studies or taking a gap year
• Experience : We are seeking candidates with a minimum of one completed internship. Two would be a plus!
