We are seeking a talented and experienced freelance UX / Product Designer to help us create intuitive, efficient, and user-centric applications for our AI / ML theme. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of machine learning, enterprise software design principles, user experience (UX) best practices, and a proven ability to translate complex business requirements into clear and engaging user interfaces (UI). The mission is set to last for 3 months (paternity leave).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users, product managers, and developers, to understand project requirements and user needs
• Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights and validate design decisions
• Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts effectively
• Create detailed UI specifications that include visual design, interaction patterns, and accessibility guidelines
• Reuse and implement consistent and scalable components for using our design principles and existing components
• Iterate on designs based on feedback, testing results, and evolving business needs

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a UX / UI Designer, Product Designer, or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing enterprise application design projects.
• Expertise in collaboration software such as Miro, Mural or similar tools
• Expertise in design software such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar tools.
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and usability heuristics.
• Experience designing for various platforms (web, desktop) and adapting designs for different screen sizes and resolutions.
• Ability to translate complex business processes into simplified and efficient user flows.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale effectively.
• Experience with agile development methodologies is a plus.
