Job Description
- Responsible for creating high-quality UI art assets for game menus and interfaces, based on provided design directions.
- Implement UI assets collaboratively with gameplay programmers and designers, ensuring proper execution of all interface features.
- Maintain asset quality standards, ensure consistency with existing content and standards, and coordinate design criteria across teams.
- Collaborate with content design, system design, and programming teams to communicate design intent and meet project goals.
- Optimize assets for quality, performance, and workflow efficiency.
- Account for technical and production constraints, managing associated risks and uncertainties.
- Establish and share best practices in design, creation, documentation, workflows, and tooling.
- Participate in troubleshooting, system optimization, and necessary reworks to achieve desired quality.
Qualifications
- Strong graphic design skills with an eye for composition, color, and artistic sensitivity.
- Proficiency with UI graphic design and prototyping tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD, Figma, etc.
- Experience with animation tools like After Effects or Flash for UI mockups.
- Knowledge of UI/UX best practices is a plus.
- Prior experience shipping at least one game as a UI artist.
- Experience working in a game development team, preferably on complex F2P RPGs or MMORPGs.
- Ability to communicate complex concepts simply, with a user-centric approach.
- Attention to detail, organized work habits, and a creative, flexible mindset open to feedback.
- Familiarity with The Division universe and passion for realistic game worlds is a plus.
- Experience with Unreal Engine and mobile platform development are advantageous.
- Passion for gaming and in-depth industry knowledge, especially in the F2P & GaaS genre.
- Understanding of the full game development cycle from concept to live operation.
