Skillsearch is working with a successful studio to find a Lead UI Artist to join their collaborative team in Bordeaux. Role Overview

As a UI Artist, you will join the UI team and work with the Associate Lead UI Artist. Your responsibilities include creating animated designs and mockups for menus, in-game interfaces, or game features based on existing Art Documents (AD), and ensuring their proper integration.

Responsibilities

1. Create consistent and ergonomic UIs
2. Collaborate with designers and UX teams to improve readability and usability
3. Work with programmers to resolve technical and implementation issues

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within video game production
• Strong knowledge of interface design and ergonomics
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe XD, and After Effects
• Excellent artistic sense, especially in iconography, typography, and HUD elements
• Interest in technology monitoring and a keen eye for composition, clarity, and legibility
• Versatility across various art styles
• Ability to adapt to existing styles and technical constraints
