Job summary

PGTEK is seeking a Test & Validation Integration Engineer to support a federal customer in Chantilly, VA. The role focuses on integrating, testing, and validating enterprise compute, storage, and networking infrastructure in a controlled lab, ensuring production readiness before field deployment.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
• Onsite five days per week in Chantilly, VA.
• Hands-on integration of compute, storage, and networking hardware in a lab.
• Development of deployment runbooks and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Rack, stack, cabling, and hardware provisioning of data center Dell PowerEdge servers and storage.
• Configure switches, firewalls, VLANs, and routing between integrated systems.
• Perform comprehensive pre-deployment testing and end-to-end validation.
• Troubleshoot hardware, configuration, and interoperability issues across infrastructure components.
• Document results and create deployment procedures for field deployment.
