he Middle Office Manager in Corporate Treasury plays a critical role in analyzing and managing financial risks related to investments, foreign exchange (FX), and interest rates. The position ensures compliance with Pluxee group-wide treasury policies (Golden Rules) and is responsible for developing and managing comprehensive treasury reports for senior management. The role also serves as the primary point of contact with local subsidiaries or countries, ensuring alignment and effective communication across regions.
Reporting to: Treasury Director and Financing
Conduct detailed analysis of financial risks, including investments, foreign exchange exposure, counterparty risk, liquidity risk, and interest rate fluctuations.
Provide insights and recommendations to mitigate risks in line with Group risk appetite and treasury policies validated by governance bodies.
Monitor market trends and assess their potential impact on liquidity, investment returns, financing costs, and overall financial performance.
Track the effectiveness of risk mitigation strategies and recommend adjustments where needed.
Ensure that risk monitoring is supported by reliable data, clear methodologies, and appropriate escalation processes.
Develop and maintain mid-term cash forecasts to support financial planning, liquidity management, and strategic decision-making.
Manage the cash forecasting process during budget preparation, periodic reforecast cycles, and treasury planning reviews.
Collaborate with FP&A, local finance teams, Cash Management, Front Office, Controlling, and other stakeholders to improve forecast accuracy.
Conduct variance analysis between actual and forecasted treasury metrics, highlighting deviations and recommending corrective actions.
Use forecast outputs to support funding decisions, investment planning, liquidity buffers, and working capital optimization.
Analyze and challenge float positions, uninvested cash, idle balances, and excess cash across the organization.
Identify opportunities to optimize float utilization and maximize float revenue within approved risk and liquidity guidelines.
Report on float performance, revenue trends, inefficiencies, country-level differences, and improvement opportunities.
Coordinate with local teams and Cash Management to improve visibility and reduce avoidable idle cash.
Provide actionable recommendations to strengthen cash efficiency and treasury value creation.
Ensure full adherence to Pluxee’s Golden Rules, Group treasury policies, internal controls, and approved risk limits.
Provide regular compliance updates to management and propose improvements to treasury control processes.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors to meet treasury-related compliance requirements and documentation expectations.
Monitor policy adherence by subsidiaries, identify exceptions, and coordinate remediation actions.
Ensure proper evidence, audit trails, reporting documentation, and control records are maintained across treasury middle office activities.
Build and maintain detailed treasury reports covering debt profiles, maturity schedules, investment performance, financial results, liquidity impact, free cash flow analysis, forecasts, float, and excess cash positions.
Prepare dashboards, presentations, and decision-support materials for senior management and treasury governance forums.
Monitor and report treasury performance indicators, providing clear and actionable insights.
Ensure that reporting is timely, accurate, consistent, and useful for decision-making.
Lead or coordinate middle office analysts where applicable, ensuring quality of analysis, timely reporting, and strong process discipline.
Act as liaison with country finance teams to ensure alignment with Group treasury strategies, policies, reporting expectations, and forecasting requirements.
Assist local subsidiaries in implementing treasury solutions and managing regional or local treasury risks.
Facilitate consistent communication between Group Treasury and subsidiaries to address challenges, share opportunities, and improve treasury practices.
Identify and drive enhancements to treasury processes, tools, systems, reporting routines, and data collection methods.
Participate in the implementation of new cash forecasting tools or updates to existing treasury platforms.
Solid understanding of FX markets, investment strategies, and interest rate risk management.
Familiarity with treasury compliance frameworks and corporate treasury best practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration across departments and geographies
