Sonoco in Saint-Ouen-sur-Seine, Île-de-France, seeks a Treasury Operations professional to verify the completeness, accuracy, and validity of treasury transactions, and to control cash movements, payments, receipts, financing, and investment activities.

This role covers bank confirmations, settlement documentation, financial reporting under US GAAP and Dutch GAAP, risk controls, and ongoing process improvements, including participation in TMS implementations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Treasury, Economics, or a related field.
• Fluent English; additional languages are advantageous in an international environment.

Responsabilités

• Verify the completeness, accuracy, and validity of treasury transactions.
• Control cash movements, payments, receipts, financing, and investment transactions.
• Review bank confirmations and settlement documentation.
• Monitor debt, deposits, and financial instrument maturities.
• Ensure timely settlement of treasury transactions.
• Review treasury-related accounting entries.
• Perform or oversee daily bank reconciliations.
• Validate accounting treatment of interest, bank fees, and financial charges.
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks and operational discrepancies.
• Prepare US GAAP monthly financial statements; prepare Dutch GAAP statements.
• Identify opportunities to improve treasury processes and controls.
• Contribute to automation and digital transformation initiatives.
• Maintain treasury procedures and operating manuals.
• Participate in Treasury Management System (TMS) implementation.
