We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Transportation Router to optimize our daily delivery and pickup routes, manage logistics, and support dispatch operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of routing principles, excellent problem-solving skills and proficiency in routing software.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Design and optimize efficient and cost-effective delivery and pickup routes daily, considering factors such as delivery windows, traffic patterns, vehicle capacity, driver availability, and customer requirements.

  • Utilize routing software to generate optimal routes, minimize mileage, reduce fuel consumption, and improve overall fleet utilization.

  • Import and manage client orders efficiently, ensuring all delivery details and special instructions are accurately captured for routing.

  • Plan and prepare next-day routing schedules, including driver assignments and vehicle allocation.

  • Act as a key liaison between drivers, customers, and internal departments.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in transportation routing, logistics, or dispatch.

  • Proven experience with routing software and transportation management systems.

  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in routing and logistics software.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with drivers, customers, and colleagues.

Reasonably expected salary range: $39,400.00 - $49,300.00
