Qualifications

• Final année de Master dans un domaine quantitatif : Informatique, Ingénierie, Mathématiques, etc.
• Connaissances avancées en SQL et Excel.
• À l'aise avec des ensembles de données volumineux.

Responsabilités

• Soutenir l'analyste de transport dans le développement et l'amélioration des KPI de transport.
• Collaborer avec les équipes d'opérations pour innover dans la mesure du succès.
• Soutenir le responsable des transports dans l'animation du portefeuille de transporteurs.

About the role

Bigblue is looking for a Transportation Manager Intern to join Bigblue's newly formed transportation team,led by a former Amazon executive. The role represents acritical function within Bigblue Operationsto continuously improve the service levels, capacities, costs and reduce the carbon footprint of our European transportation. This is aunique opportunity to have a meaningful impact on our customersand to get a 360 view on the e-commerce supply chain.

Your responsibilities

• Support the Transportation Analyst in developing, monitoring and improving full set of Transportation KPIs
• Support transportation team in developing strategic initiatives through data driven analysis
• Work hand in hand with other Bigblue Ops team members (Transportation, Warehouse, Customer Care...) to innovate and define new way to measure success/gap
• Support the Transportation Manager in animating carriers portfolio through performance review and operations readiness

Requirements

• Final year of Master Degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Information Management, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Economics, Finance or similar)
• Advanced to expert knowledge of SQL and Microsoft Excel
• Comfortable with large datasets
• Fluent in French and English
• Ability to work in a team
