Position Summary
To support our development in Europe, we are looking for a Hydrogen Transport and Distribution Specialist.
You will join the Hydrogen Operations Europe team and will be in charge of coordinating and growing our gaseous transport operations in Europe & UK .
Core Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Europe Logistics Project Manager, your mission will be to:
Manage & coordinate gaseous hydrogen delivery rounds at our customer sites (EU/UK), either distributed directly by Plug or by third-party partners relying on transport partners (planification, operating & emergency procedures, requirements, etc.) Ensure compliance with transport terms and delivery requirements on customer sites, as well as good operating conditions (delivery protocols, training of drivers on customer specificities, etc.) and safety (specific measures for the transport of hazardous materials, prevention plan, etc.),
Ensure the link with the various stakeholders (carriers, internal and third-party hydrogen suppliers, customer sites, etc.), Monitor activity indicators and implement service performance measurement tools, Contribute to the reflection and the deployment of a relevant information system related to the transport of hydrogen, Provide monitoring of customs legislation and conditions, guarantee compliance with transport legislation , Contribute to budget reporting, and make the link with Operations Department : regular reporting, management of malfunctions…
Education and Experience
You have intrapreneurship mindset and want to contribute to building an organization in a fast-growing group,
You have a bachelor or degree in Transport / Supply Chain , a Masters in Logistics Project Management, or an engineering or business school diploma with a logistics / transport specialization.
You are operational/fluent in French & English . Additionally, German or Spanish would be appreciated.
Ideally, you have ADR 1.3 certification/ Administrative management of the transport of hazardous goods.
Ideally, you have a first experience in the transport sector (knowledge of hazardous materials/ADR appreciated) and/or logistics.
