Job summary

Airbus Helicopters SAS in Marignane, France, seeks a Drive System Design Responsible to join the Transmission Design & Dynamic Systems Architecture department. You will define technical objectives, ensure design compliance, and certify transmission systems for the fleet.

The role requires collaboration across AH entities and suppliers, with hands-on design and testing activities. Strong English and French skills are essential; German is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in aeronautical domain.
• Synthesis mindset and rigor.
• Good communication skills.
• Languages: Advanced English and negotiation-level French; German would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define technical objectives of transmission systems (specification writing).
• Follow detailed design and ensure compliance with requirements for performance, manufacturing, assembly and reliability for design changes and new certifications.
• Manage activities in compliance with Airbus Helicopters processes—write and follow flight and bench test requests and conclusions, prepare and follow up tests.
• Certify transmission systems (document writing, discussions with EASA).
