iBanFirst is seeking a Transaction Monitoring Analyst on a 6-month fixed-term contract in Paris to strengthen our monitoring team as volumes grow.

You will review due diligence, KYC files, and alerts, conduct investigations, escalate risks, and contribute to process improvements. English is required; French is a plus. Hybrid work with 1–2 remote days. This role offers a €40,000 gross annual salary and a chance to influence financial integrity in a regulated fintech.

Qualifications

1 to 3 years of experience in CDD, KYC, transaction monitoring, AML, compliance, or a related control function.
Experience in transaction monitoring, file review, customer due diligence, or regulatory projects is strongly preferred.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a disciplined approach to documentation.
An investigative, autonomous, and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to manage deadlines and elevate issues appropriately.
English is required. French is a plus.

Responsabilités

Review customer due diligence, KYC, and transaction monitoring files and alerts in line with internal procedures.
Identify inconsistent information, controls, and decision rationales.
Conduct customer and transaction research using internal systems and reliable external sources.
Conduct thorough investigations and maintain a clear, complete, and auditable record of your analysis and decisions.
Escalate suspicious activity, sanctions concerns, fraud indicators, or other material risks.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of monitoring processes, procedures, and ways of working.

Recruitment Context

We are looking for a Transaction Monitoring Analyst on a 6-month fixed-term contract to strengthen our Transaction Monitoring team as our activity and transaction volumes continue to grow.

Manager & Team

You will report to Thibault Billeret, Team Lead Transaction Monitoring, and work closely with Compliance, KYC/CDD, Legal, Risk and Operations teams.

What will you do?

Review customer due diligence, KYC, and transaction monitoring files and alerts in line with internal procedures.
Identify inconsistent information, controls, and decision rationales.
Conduct customer and transaction research using internal systems and reliable external sources.
Conduct thorough investigations and maintain a clear, complete, and auditable record of your analysis and decisions.
Escalate suspicious activity, sanctions concerns, fraud indicators, or other material risks.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of monitoring processes, procedures, and ways of working.

Role Objectives

First month

Become familiar with the team, systems, methodology, and escalation process.
Begin reviewing assigned alerts.

By month 3

Work autonomously on a defined portfolio of alerts.
Contribute effectively to the team’s daily activities.

By the end of the mission

Be a reliable and efficient member of the team.
Contribute to strong monitoring outcomes.
Share practical improvement ideas.
