Training Delivery Manager

Our client is a major European multinational Technology / e-commerce services company with a presence in more than 20 countries.

We are looking for their Paris office, a French Market Legal Expert reporting to the French CFO and EU legal Director. The Legal Counsel will be a real support of the operational teams on all legal subjects.

They are looking to hire a 6-12 year’s experience profile in legal department with experience in multinational Internet / technology business environments drafting contracts and handling various legal matters related to corporate law, consumer law and E-commerce laws (droit des sociétés, droit de la consommation, e-commerce).

We are looking for a very organized, dynamic and proactive team player to join the legal EU team to support French and International teams (Operations, Finance, Sales, and Marketing).

ROLE:

Legal Manager

Based:

Paris (50 % Remote work)

Report:

General Manager France & EU Legal Director

Team:

Will work with other legal team in other EU offices

Salary:

65,000 euros.

FUNCTIONS

1. Anticipate and understand the legal needs and issues of the company
2. Serve as the legal point of contact for the France and international teams (Operations, Finance, Sales, and Marketing)
3. Legal research and monitoring, risk analysis, and advice to operational teams
4. Drafting legal documents (adaptation from English), analysis, and contract monitoring
5. Various legal matters related to corporate law, consumer law, and e-commerce
6. Handling amicable settlements and/or legal disputes with the assistance of external lawyers
7. Continuous improvement and formalization of legal processes
8. Other tasks: ensuring compliance and adherence to GDPR provisions, managing insurance contracts with brokers, etc.

YOUR PROFILE:

1. 6 years of experience as in-company legal counsel.
2. Bilingual French & English (C1 level written-spoken) and Fluent in Portuguese or Dutch
3. Organized / Rigorous / Proactive / Team player
