Sonoco is seeking a Trainee Transport Analyst in Paris for a six-month internship starting March 2026. You will update freight rates, correct carriers, standardize postal codes, and assist with pre-billing analyses while gaining hands-on Supply Chain experience.

Ideal candidates have a university degree in accounting/finance or logistics, knowledge of Excel (Power Query, Power BI), and English with French proficiency. SAP knowledge is a plus, and Pass Navigo can be reimbursed.

• Minimum 2 years university degree in accounting/finance/controlling.
• Graduate Business School.
• Knowledge in SAP is a plus.
• French intermediate to good level; English native to fluent.

Responsabilités

• Update freight rates database daily.
• Update rates according to buyers' information.
• Correct obsolete carriers and equipment names.
• Standardize postal codes and city names.
• Perform pre-billing analysis and monitor reporting errors.
• Extract European fuel indexes (IRU).
• Provide occasional support to plant on pre-billing tool.
• Provide regular progress reports of internship objectives.

What you'll be doing : Update freight rates database : Update rates according to buyers' information Corrections of obsolete carriers and equipment used Standardize postal codes and city names Pre-billing analysis : Daily monitoring of reporting errors Analysis of manual price changes by plant Search and correction of wrong distances Other tasks : Extraction of European fuel indexes (IRU) Occasional support to plant on the pre-billing tool Regular progress report of the internship and the objectives During the internship, the student will develop Supply Chain Management skills with a focus on Transportation. This position is in Paris.

We'd love to hear from you if : Technical skills The applicant shall have a good knowledge of the transport environment (including transport regulation fundamentals) and understand corporate accounting management. Personal Qualities The Trainee Transport Analyst is rigorous and shows strong interpersonal skills. He/she has the ability to adapt to tools, procedures, working methods. Finally, he/she is reactive, curious, analytic and open to others. Computer skills Office tools (email, spreadsheet program such as Excel (good level) "Excel Power Query, Power Automate, Power BI, Python is a plus", presentation software such as PowerPoint ...) Knowledge in SAP is a plus Foreign Languages French (intermediate to good level) English (native to fluent) German and / or Spanish would be a plus University degrees MBA, Master or Degree in transportation, logistics, procurement, data analyst.

Compensation : The annual base salary range is from 14400€ to 18000€. The Pass Navigo is refunded by 50%. Duration : Starting date March 2026 6 months #LI-FC1
