Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your extensive electrical engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside dedicated, innovative, and collaborative teammates. You'll lead the charge in shaping the future of power supply systems for transportation, ensuring projects are executed with excellence and adhere to the highest standards of quality. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Engineering, Project Management, Construction, Tests and Commissioning teams), manage critical interfaces with civil and partners/contractors, and much more.
We’ll look to you for:
- Leading the Power Supply Traction project technical scope, ensuring the implementation according to the design for quality standards.
- Manage the project power supply solution, writing and modifying calculation notes for high voltage / traction / low voltage cable sizing & protection coordination, short circuit calculation, CT VT sizing, earthing lightning UPS and charger sizing, and other substation equipment sizing calculations.
- Performing basic engineering activities for high voltage/medium voltage/low voltage parts of a project.
- Providing electrical architectures, technical specifications, functional specifications, Bill Of Quantities, interface specifications, and identifying gaps versus reference solutions.
- Identifying and managing interfaces between Power Supply subsystem and other subsystems, including coordination of transversal engineering activities with Earthing & Bonding (E&B), Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), electrical simulations, civil works interfaces, and topographical referential.
All about you
Our ideal candidate has:
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 10 years’ experience in electrical engineering in metro or tram systems.
- Senior Expert in Power Supply (SIF08)
- Experience with BIM methodologies.
Know-how and skills:
- Rigor, perseverance, analytical and synthesis skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and ideally in French
- Effective communication with internal teams, customers, and suppliers
- Logical, organized, and problem-solving abilities through collaboration, creativity, and analysis
- Ability to work independently following instructions, routines, and standard practices.
