In a context of strong recovery of international travels, Ubigi eSIM has experienced exponential growth in recent months. The eSIM (or virtual SIM card) allows travelers to activate a mobile data plan instantly, remotely (with a QR code or via an application), without changing their physical SIM card. They can still be reached on their usual number (calls/SMS) while benefiting from rapid, immediate Internet access upon arrival at any airport worldwide.

You are passionate about the tourism industry, an expert in the American market, and have experience working with airlines, hotels, tour operators, travel agencies, and other tourism actors!

You work as a freelancer or a business reporter.

Based on this potential, Transatel seeks a business developer specialized in the travel and tourism industry in the United States. The role involves convincing travel agencies, tour operators, and airlines to incorporate our eSIM connectivity into their customer journey, enhancing connectivity worldwide and generating additional recurring revenue.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Contact relevant travel industry players to educate them about eSIM benefits for travelers
  • Present partnership models offered by Transatel, from promoting Ubigi to launching white-label services
  • Collaborate with marketing to report on product roadmap needs
  • Nurture partner accounts to grow existing business
  • Calculate partners’ monthly results and commissions

Your profile

You should have at least 2 years of experience in:

  • Sales or business development within the U.S. travel industry (contacts within this industry are mandatory)
  • Freelancing or business reporting
  • Based in the United States

Required qualities include:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus
