A leading quantum technology startup in Île-de-France seeks a Thin Film Deposition Technician to fabricate superconducting circuits for quantum processors. Candidates should have a technical education and 3+ years experience with vacuum technologies. This role involves using advanced tools and collaborating with a dynamic team to innovate in quantum computing. Join us to be part of a groundbreaking mission in technology!
Alice & Bob is developing the first universal, fault-tolerant quantum computer. The quantum computer is based on a new kind of superconducting qubit: the Schrödinger cat qubit, which can autonomously implement quantum error correction. The company is growing quickly after securing funding to develop this technology. The team includes physicists, PhD students, engineers and experienced business professionals. The Nanofabrication team in the Quantum Hardware department produces the superconducting circuits used as the basis of the quantum computer, using thin film deposition and patterning methods in a cleanroom environment. The team develops and improves the process and manufactures prototype chips. We invite tech enthusiasts who are passionate about cutting-edge technology to join our mission in quantum computing.
As a Thin Film Deposition Technician at Alice & Bob, you will play a pivotal role in fabricating superconducting circuits for next-generation quantum processors. You will work with state-of-the-art vacuum evaporation and lithography tools, contributing to process optimization and innovation. This role combines technical expertise with hands-on problem-solving, including tool supervision, diagnostics, and maintenance, while executing precise fabrication processes. You will collaborate with experts and travel to partner technology platforms in the Ile-de-France region.
