Astroscale France (Toulouse) is seeking a Thermal Engineer to join our Systems Engineering Group. Based in Toulouse with hybrid working, you will help design, analyse and justify thermal systems for RPOD missions, collaborating across engineering disciplines to optimize thermal architecture.

You will develop and maintain thermal models, support thermal tests, and contribute to system design and verification, working with ESATAN-TMS, Systema Thermica and CAD tools while communicating in

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of commercial experience as a thermal engineer for space systems.
• Experience with thermal analysis tools such as ESATAN-TMS / Systema Thermica.
• Understanding of thermal tests and design involvement.
• Ability to lead within a project team and communicate in English at professional level.

Responsabilités

• Capture thermal requirements and constraints for missions.
• Support development and architectural design of Thermal Control System via thermal analyses.
• Develop thermal and geometrical models (GMM / TMM).
• Manage thermal analysis packages during design justification and test prep.
• Execute test campaigns and analyze results.
• Produce and review reports and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders throughout the lifecycle.
