Aerospacelab in Toulouse seeks a Thermomechanical Solution Engineer to own mechanical, thermal and system constraints for future satellite platforms, from concept to final assembly with the project team. You will run concept trade-offs, produce drawings and interface files, validate designs through testing, and collaborate with sales and suppliers.

English fluency and 5+ years in aerospace CAD/structure/thermal modelling are required.

Qualifications

At least 5 years of experience in aerospace CAD design with hands-on structure and/or thermal modelling.
Excellent communication skills.
Fluency in English.
Willingness to challenge the European space industry statu quo.

Responsabilités

Understand customers constraints and wishes to provide sound early concepts.
Translate those concepts into engineering constraints (mechanical, thermal, EE, RF, AOCS,…) and come up with spacecraft accommodations.
Perform concept trade-off, carry out overall design studies and validate the product through extensive testing.
Validate the design product and prepare its industrialization: configuration, drawings, stack-up analysis, material and treatments.
Define interface files and validation of the integration with suppliers and/or launch authority.
Support the testing activities: assembly, structural and thermal FE validation and prediction, Ground Support Equipment definition.
