Socomec Sas's development laboratory in Huttenheim invites a qualified engineer to lead product testing and qualification activities. You will coordinate internal and external stakeholders and report to the Laboratory Manager, ensuring verification, validation, and certification milestones are met.

This role emphasizes autonomy, leadership, and collaboration with IEC and UL while driving quality, cost, and schedule objectives across the development cycle.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in electrical, electronic, or power electronics engineering.
• 5+ years in testing, validation, or managing technical tests in industry.
• Strong skills in electrical testing, technical project management, and standards interpretation.
• Advanced English and French (B2/C1).

At the development laboratory in Huttenheim, you will serve as the point of contact for product testing and qualification activities. You will contribute to development projects by coordinating various internal and external stakeholders. Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, you will oversee verification, validation, and certification activities to ensure that project milestones and deliverables are met.

Responsibilities

• Represent the laboratory in development projects and serve as the point of contact with various stakeholders.
• Oversee product verification, validation, and certification activities throughout the development cycle.
• Establish, monitor, and update qualification plans in accordance with project requirements.
• Coordinate tests conducted by the laboratory’s engineers and technicians and oversee the drafting and validation of test reports.
• Maintain relationships with certification bodies, including IEC and UL, and support compliance efforts.
• Manage projects in accordance with quality, cost, and schedule objectives and ensure that laboratory milestones are met.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) or engineering degree in electrical, electronic, or power electronics engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in testing, validation, or managing technical tests in an industrial setting.
• Strong skills in electrical testing, technical project management, and interpreting technical standards.
• Advanced English and French (B2/C1).
