Job summary

EUROPEAN DYNAMICS Group is seeking a Test Engineer fluent in English to join our France-based development team, collaborating with a major client IT team. The role may be performed at the company premises or on-site at customer premises in France.

The ideal candidate holds a IT degree with at least four years of experience in testing, including API testing, automation, and end-to-end quality assurance in enterprise environments. Strong communication with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• University degree in IT combined with relevant IT experience (at least 4 years).
• Hands-on experience in test planning, scenarios, cases and execution.
• Experience in API testing with Postman, Kreya or similar tools.
• Experience with DBs and SQL and with automated tests.

Responsibilities

• Plan test activities, track progress and align priorities within the team.
• Assess product quality by reviewing requirements and test data; create test cases and automate where possible.
• Execute tests and report outcomes to stakeholders.
• Improve testing approaches and requirements through continuous evaluation.

Job description

We currently have a vacancy for a Test Engineer fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in France. The work will be carried out either in the company's premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client's IT team.

Tasks

• Planning test activities, follow up on progress and approach by ensuring priority alignment inside the team, driving alignment with the involved parties in setting up the environments and tools;
• Prepare assessment of the product quality by reviewing requirements, design documentation, creating the test scenarios, test cases and test data including automation of the test cases;
• Run assessment of the product quality by running tests and reporting on the outcome;
• Continuously assess and look for ways to improve the quality of the product including requirements review and improvement to the testing approach;
• Leverage test analysis and test automation patterns to ensure requirement coverage, fast and reliable test execution.

Requirements

• University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of at least 4 years;
• Hands on experience in test planning, test scenarios, test case creation and execution;
• Experience in API testing using Postman, Kreya or similar tools;
• Experience using DBs and SQL;
• Experience in writing and editing automated tests;
• Experience with system integration testing;
• Defect Management including prioritization of defects;
• Experience with Test and Defect Management tools;
• Experience in complex, enterprise system integration;
• End User (UAT) management;
• Experience in agile software development and testing methodologies;
• Knowledge of testing standards, methods;
• Ability to understand business context, define priorities and communicate with technology focused teams;
• Excellent command of the English language.
