Qualifications

  • Scientific background with a strong understanding of Microbiology.

The Territory Manager is responsible for growth and expansion of direct sales within assigned accounts and on products or services in PACA Corsica region.

This position is part of the Commercial Department and will be located in Marseille or Avignon area.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Achieve sales goals
  • Be responsible for managing and growing business in existing and new Cepheid accounts
  • Sell additional instrumentation to customers
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with Key Account
  • Introduce and develop new testing in Point Of Care
  • Develop and implement customer specific action plans
  • Work closely with Field Application Specialists and Marketing
The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology/Pharmacy with 5+ years of related work experience OR Master’s degree in Biology/Pharmacy with 3+ years of related work experience OR Doctoral degree in Biology/Pharmacy with 0-2 years of related work experience.
  • Scientific background - Microbiology knowledge
  • Experience in Hospital and Private Lab environment
  • Negotiation Skills
  • English fluent
It would be a plus if you also possess:

  • Knowledge of the Hospital Clinical Lab environment
  • Knowledge in Point Of Care testing
  • Regional Network
