ALICE Collaboration in France seeks a Junior Professorship candidate to advance heavy-ion physics and QCD studies through CMS collaboration activities. The role includes R&D on readout electronics for the EEEMCaL calorimeter and potential expansion to Electron-Ion Collider projects.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or PhD in a relevant field with strong research track record.
• Experience in high-energy physics or CMS collaboration.
• Ability to conduct data-taking and analysis in a large international project.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to scientific data-taking and QCD studies in heavy-ion collisions at the LHC.
• Contribute to R&D for EEEMCaL readout electronics and possible involvement in Electron-Ion Collider activities.
