CNRS invites applications for a First Stage Researcher (R1) to contribute to scientific data-taking and analysis within the CMS collaboration at the LHC. The position focuses on heavy-ion physics and quantum chromodynamics studies, with potential involvement in R&D for the EEEMCaL electromagnetic calorimeter readout electronics tied to the Electron-Ion Collider project.

Teaching activities related to the research theme are foreseen.

Qualifications

• Experience participating in large experimental collaborations.
• Ability to analyze data from high-energy physics experiments.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to scientific data-taking and analysis within the CMS collaboration.
• Engage in R&D for the readout electronics of the EEEMCaL calorimeter for the Electron-Ion Collider.
