We are seeking a temporary Global Category Buyer – IT / IS, to support the IT strategy category with a spend of around 200M€ and to animate a global network of IT buyers.
As a key member of the Global Procurement Team, you will collaborate across different divisions to drive impactful and strategic projects, focusing on optimizing quality, cost, innovation, and overall performance in IT categories including Hardware, Software, Communication, and Services.
This high-visibility role positions you as a key player in shaping and executing the Global IT/IS procurement strategy.
Your Mission & Challenges:
- Lead operational negotiations for complex and strategic IT projects, driving cost optimization and value creation.
- Develop expertise in IT procurement within a dynamic international environment.
- Support global initiatives to enhance the economic and sustainable performance of the IT category.
- Co-animate an international network of 15+ regional/local buyers, fostering collaboration and efficiency.
What is essential for us?
- A minimum of 2-3 years experience in IT procurement with a proven track record of impactful results.
- Fluency in English and French.
- A strategic mindset, able to align stakeholders across diverse functions and seize new business opportunities.
- Ability to align strategy and stakeholders around identified and new business opportunities.
- Resilience and tenacity, combined with strong relationship-building skills to establish credibility and an efficient network.
- A results-oriented mindset, driven to deliver measurable value in IT procurement categories.
