SOS MEDITERRANEE is seeking an Advocacy Officer to fill a short-term gap in its Advocacy and Operational Communications (AOC) Department. The role focuses on continuity of evidence, data, and positioning work during the current unpaid leave of the current coordinator.

You will collect and document operational data and survivor testimonies, draft internal briefing notes, and support the production of advocacy materials. Close collaboration with onboard, air, and shore teams is expected.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of advocacy experience in international contexts.
• Experience in SAR/migration contexts is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Support the collection, organisation, and management of operational data and information.
• Help maintain advocacy data systems and documentation.
• Support creation of advocacy materials (reports, briefing notes, talking points).
• Represent SOS MEDITERRANEE at select external meetings when required.
