SOS MEDITERRANEE is seeking an Advocacy Officer to support the Advocacy and Operational Communications team during a three-month gap in leadership. The role focuses on data, evidence, and positioning, collaborating with onboard, air, and shore teams to ensure continuity.

You will monitor migration and SAR policy developments, draft briefing notes, and help produce advocacy materials. A Master’s degree and at least 3 years in advocacy are required; English fluency is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as law, political science or humanitarian affairs.
• Experience in advocacy or policy environments is essential.
• Experience in data collection and protection standards is highly valued.

Responsabilités

• Support collection and management of operational data and survivor testimonies with consent and safeguarding.
• Draft internal briefing notes and short updates on policy developments.
• Help produce advocacy materials like reports, briefing notes and talking points.
