Qualifications

• DEA license eligibility and eligibility to practice in the state.
• Current RN license and NP certification to practice.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider certification with expiry >90 days.
• Master’s Degree or Doctorate of Nursing Practice required.
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial and periodic medical history, physicals, and daily assessments.
• Records findings of examinations and plans of care.
• Performs minor office-based medical and/or surgical procedures.
• Writes prescriptions and administers medications.
• Orders and interprets daily laboratory and radiology examinations.
• Determines treatment plan for patient and documents encounters.
• Act as a patient advocate and participate in meetings and policy development.
