The Role
We seek a Technology Sales Director to drive growth in our technology-based propositions. You will actively develop and close new business opportunities in the P&C and Life insurance markets.
The role involves leading revenue growth in the South-West European division through strategic sales pursuits, partnerships, and client engagement.
Main Focus Areas:
- Engage in large and strategic technology opportunities, collaborating with regional and local teams to develop and close sales pursuits.
- Accountable for client retention and working with relationship managers.
- Develop relationships with C-suite executives, especially CTOs and CIOs.
- Support and mentor colleagues to achieve ICT’s growth goals in the EMEA region.
- Align technology solutions with client needs to maximize value and ROI.
Pipeline and Sales:
- Develop and manage a pipeline by prospecting and nurturing client relationships.
- Leverage existing relationships and technology footprints.
- Identify client needs and present WTW’s capabilities, cross-selling solutions as appropriate.
- Promote WTW’s market leadership through insights and solutions.
- Design and execute go-to-market strategies.
- Engage prospects directly and collaborate on marketing materials.
- Generate referral leads and cross-sell opportunities.
- Build relationships with decision-makers relevant to our solutions.
Client Management:
- Ensure client retention and develop relationships with C-suite clients.
- Maintain high-quality contact with prospects and clients.
- Participate in relationship planning and opportunity closing.
- Act as a client relationship manager for key technology clients.
- Foster relationships with decision-makers.
People:
- Collaborate with sales colleagues on activities.
- Mentor future sales talent.
Product Development and Strategy:
- Identify market trends and client needs.
- Contribute to product development and enhancements.
- Participate in roadmap discussions and identify inorganic growth opportunities.
- Develop sales collateral and messaging.
Financial Metrics:
- Achieve annual revenue targets.
- Contribute to sales forecasting and business planning.
