Job summary

Houlihan Lokey's Paris Technology Team is seeking a Senior Associate/VP to lead and execute Technology M&A transactions. The role demands 5–7 years in investment banking or corporate finance, with strong modelling, accounting, and client-facing capabilities.

Fluency in English and French is essential, and mentoring junior staff is expected. You will collaborate across a global firm, manage due diligence, develop financial analyses, and contribute to client presentations and strategic advisories.

Qualifications

5–7 years in investment banking or corporate finance (M&A, generalist or industry team).
Experience in the Technology sector is highly valued, including end-to-end sell-side mandates.
Strong academic track record (2:1 or equivalent).
Advanced financial modelling (LBO and DCF) and solid accounting/valuation knowledge.
Strong knowledge of Excel and ability to work with complex analyses.

Responsibilities

Support or lead the execution of Technology M&A transactions, coordinating due diligence and closing.
Create, develop, and review complex financial models (LBO, DCF) and articulate historical and projected financials.
Act as a primary client contact, lead meetings, and contribute to pitches, CIMs, and management presentations.
Build lasting relationships with clients, professionals, and advisers; drive group client development and marketing initiatives.
Supervise and mentor junior team members through deal execution and financial analysis.
