Job summary

Yole Group is seeking a Technology Analyst specialized in computing to support and develop reverse engineering activities on semiconductor devices. You will perform technology, cost and manufacturing analyses on CPUs, SoCs, GPUs and AI chips, collaborating with cost analysts to develop transversal insights.

A master’s or engineering degree in microelectronics or nanotechnologies is required, with French and English at least B2/C1.

Qualifications

• University degree (Masters or Engineer) in Physics / Nanotechnologies / Microelectronics or related field is mandatory.
• Excellent French and English are mandatory (B2/C1).
• First experience in manufacturing, characterization, cleanroom or design is a real plus.

Responsibilities

• Interact with laboratory analysts and define analysis strategy.
• Follow physical analysis of devices, mainly CPUs, SoCs, GPUs & AI chips.
• Contribute to sample sourcing roadmaps and identify interesting devices to analyze.
• Understand impact of manufacturing process flow to calculate production costs.
• Produce reports and customized studies within set timeframes.
• Oversee technology and industry trends related to manufacturing cost variation in your domain.

Job Description

YoleGroup is currently recruiting a Technology Analyst specializedin computing tosupport and develop our reverse engineering activities on semiconductordevices.

Youwill perform technology, cost and manufacturing processes analysis on standardor new technologies on computing devices. You Will also work closely with theother technology & cost analysts to develop transversal analysis; shareyour knowledge and provide support when needed.

Thisposition is only opened to candidates graduated with a university degree - master’sdegree or engineeringdegree – inmicroelectronics / nanotechnologies or a related field.

The positionis based in La-Chapelle-sur- Erdre (44).

Asa Technology Analyst, your main tasks will be to :

• Interact withlaboratory analysts and define analysis strategy
• Follow the physical analysis of devices, mainly CPUs,SoCs, GPUs & AI chips
• Contribute tothe sample sourcing roadmaps
• Source theinteresting devices you will analyze
• Understandthe impact ofthe manufacturing process flow to calculate production costs
• Produce reports and customized studies
• Execute the projects within a given timeframe
• Overseeing the technology and industry trends linked to manufacturing cost variation inyour domain
• Maintaining and enriching internal databases (manufacturing processes and materials, substrates,equipment costs …)

Requirements

• UniversityDegree (Masters, Engineer) in Physics / Nanotechnologies / Microelectronics /Semiconductor or a related field is mandatory
• Afirst experience (internship or 1/2 years) in manufacturing, characterization,cleanroom or design would be a real plus
• Deepinterest in innovation economics and cost related subjects
