A leading technology company is seeking a Customer Service Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance, provide customer support, and manage spare parts at various sites, mainly in Ghana. This role requires a minimum of 2 years higher education in electronics or related fields, fluency in English, and strong problem-solving skills. Job Description

In addition to technical operations such as preventive and corrective maintenance, the Customer Service Technician contributes to the sales drive by developing the company's image. He/she professionally ensures the smooth running of our systems and the satisfaction of our customers.

The Customer Service Technician's duties include night and/or weekend call-outs. These calls may be made by telephone or onsite.

The work will be carried out in the Ghana region (mainly at airports and ports) with occasional other travel.

Main Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance at customer sites. Service and update intervention reports and ERP operating system.
  • Assist with or conduct audit missions with customers based on orders received from the after-sales service department.
  • Contribute to ensuring our contractual commitments, including response times for availability.
  • Manage stock of spare parts used during service (purchase or repair, inventory management, stock status).
  • Monitor the operation of system sub-assemblies, analyze recurring breakdowns, and propose improvements.
  • Implement and commission new installations both in the factory and on customer sites.
  • Provide telephone support to customers.
  • Comply with safety and technical procedures.

Qualifications: Required Profile

  • Minimum 2 years higher education in GEII (electronics, mechanics, automation, IT).
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • High degree of autonomy and initiative in problem-solving on site.
  • Rigorous management of responsibilities, compliance with internal rules and processes.
  • Respect for deadlines and cost objectives.
  • Good relations with customers and subcontractors.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Position subject to prefectural authorizations to obtain airport badges.
