Open to contractual candidates: Yes, as a derogation from civil servant applications. A contractual position may be recruited for service needs or due to the nature of the functions when no civil servant application has been successful. The proposed contract cannot exceed three years, renewable up to a maximum of six years.

Working hours: Full-time

Job location: Saint-Julien-en-Genevois, a municipality with over 17,000 inhabitants, actively engaged in cultural policies, notably through its cinema Le Rouge & Noir, an Art and Essay cinema (labels Jeune Public). Part of the Europa Cinemas network, it attracts nearly 26,000 attendees annually and hosts numerous events (partnership evenings, workshops, festivals, director interventions, themed weeks).

Main missions:

• Welcome the public, handle cash register operations (substitute manager), and ensure projections (perfect mastery of the booth, TMS, Globecast, Cinego).
• Follow ingest processes and routing of DCPs in collaboration with the second projectionist, create display cards.
• Program graphic sessions on TMS and verify playlists in coordination with the second projectionist.
• Monitor and record Europa Cinemas entries.
• Write the weekly newsletter.
• Display weekly schedules.
• Check daily cash sheets.
• Technical monitoring of the projection booth.
• Update risk register, ensure safety, and react promptly to technical issues.
• Participate in annual maintenance with technical companies.
• Assist in formatting the cinema program using Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop.
• Contribute broadly to events organized by DVAECS.

Working conditions:

• Full-time position, 35 hours/week
• Irregular hours with variable amplitude depending on programming
• Evening and weekend work
