Mission and responsibilities:

Reporting to the head of application systems within the 'Project Execution Systems' department, you will be responsible for:

• Deploying software infrastructures including servers (on-premises/cloud), databases (SQL, Oracle), software, and licensing.
• Packaging engineering software.
• Setting up licensing systems (contact with publishers).
• Providing Level 2 support for users of engineering software.
• Communicating with publishers of scientific tools for incident resolution and deployment of new versions.
• Maintaining the repository of scientific tool versions and their licenses.
• Participating in feedback and proposing solutions for easier deployment of scientific tools to users.
• Managing various interfaces of scientific tools.
• Administering the calculation cluster, evaluating hosted applications, monitoring nodes, deploying security patches, managing users and groups.

While not an expert, you should have good knowledge of server infrastructure, Microsoft technologies, and Active Directory. You need to understand these applications to create deployment documentation and assist in incident resolution.

Your role will also include supporting the head of computing resources managed by the service.

Profile:

• You have a Bac +2/3 education and at least 5 years of experience managing scientific computer tools.
• Practical knowledge of scripting tools (Batch, PowerShell) or deployment systems is a plus.
• You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, both technical and functional.
• You have good interpersonal skills.
• You are fluent in French and can communicate in English (writing and speaking) in an international environment.
• Occasional travel within France and abroad is expected.
