Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to costing, preliminary studies, and design studies by defining and adjusting manufacturing sequences, processes, resources, and minor modifications.
  • Develop processes and associated documentation for industrialization projects to ensure compliance with quality and cost targets and meet project deadlines.
  • Optimize production costs, safety, and ergonomics as part of continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Supervise production and provide technical support to resolve non-quality issues.
Scope of Activities:
  • Perform activities such as:

Carry out costing for Invitations to Tender with proposed schedules (RC – Recurring Cost, NRC – Non-Recurring Cost).

Participate in pre-studies (including pre-procurement and procurement) and studies.

Contribute to preparing and validating definition files in collaboration with the design office.

Define manufacturing operating processes aligned with technical requirements, quality, costs, time, safety, and workplace conditions, and develop related documentation.

Define, structure, monitor, and update items, ranges, and nomenclatures in the information system.

Transmit technical elements necessary for tool manufacturing (budget, deadlines, etc.) to the design office or subcontractors.

Determine and optimize manufacturing times.

Provide technical support to production and partners, proactively solve technical problems, and address quality notices.

Participate in value analyses and product/process FMECA, and propose process or tooling improvements, including calculation of production times and monitoring new technologies.

Adapt activities for employees on work-study placements to align with their training.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Address and process QSE alerts reported by staff.
  • Ensure team members have necessary skills through training and qualifications.
  • Support the development of QSE maturity within the sector.
