Position Details

The SRPC Test Facilities department plans and conducts tests on oil exploration and well production equipment used worldwide. To strengthen its team, the client is seeking a Maintenance Technician. The candidate will report to the Pressure & Temperature Testing Team Leader.

Responsibilities

1. Ensure proper functioning of industrial equipment through preventive and corrective maintenance, adhering to safety standards and procedures.
2. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
3. Diagnose and repair equipment failures within designated timeframes.
4. Participate in installation and commissioning of new equipment.
5. Monitor maintenance performance indicators like machine availability and mean time between failures.
6. Follow safety protocols during maintenance and ensure team and installation safety.
7. Maintain up-to-date documentation of interventions and spare parts used.
8. Collaborate with production, quality, and logistics teams to ensure equipment availability.

Team Composition

The candidate will work within a multidisciplinary team of technicians and engineers (mechanical and electronic).

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of specifications and manufacturer diagrams.
• Understanding of general mechanical and electrical principles.
• Mechanical skills: assembly, torque, materials.
• Electromechanical: motor operation, basic electromotor vocabulary.
• Hydraulics: reading hydraulic diagrams.
• Instrumentation: sensors, data acquisition.
• Data analysis and reporting skills.
• Computer skills: MS Office (a plus).

Non-Technical Skills

• Vigilance for safety and quality.
• Planning and organizational skills.
• Electrical safety certification (QUEST EUR-FR-SRPC Level 2).
• Additional training in lifting operations and forklift operation (CACES 5) is an advantage.
• Teamwork, adaptability, good communication skills.
• English proficiency is a plus.

Educational Background

Baccalauréat in Electrotechnics or Industrial Maintenance, BTS in Systems Maintenance, or equivalent.

Experience

Minimum 5 years in the oil, automotive, aerospace, or IT sectors.
