Descriptif

Placed within the cyber defense grouping of the armed forces (GCA), the Defensive Cyber Analysis Center (CALID) is the operational center of the Ministry of the Armed Forces responsible for information systems defense. Integrated within the anticipation division / threat research and analysis section, this analyst conducts cyber-interest information monitoring and research. Responsibilities include collecting, developing, and updating knowledge bases on threats to the Ministry's information systems, supporting CALID teams, developing expertise on attack techniques, procedures, and tools, managing knowledge markers and indicators of compromise, and conducting vulnerability research primarily from open sources. The analyst also supports investigations and incident handling related to cyber defense.

Main Missions:
  • Identify attack tactics, techniques, and tools;
  • Analyze vulnerabilities, assess exploitability and criticality, and propose solutions;
  • Collect indicators of compromise through open-source monitoring;
  • Manage the cyber markers database;
  • Maintain security vigilance and software/system lifecycle management.
Additional Missions:
  • Contribute to updating CALID's knowledge base;
  • Enhance tools like LID;
  • Participate in rapid response teams if needed.
Profile Sought:

At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or related IT/security fields, with knowledge of networks and security. System administrator experience is a plus. Specific requirements include security clearance, availability, and participation in on-call duties.

Skills required include cybersecurity organization, technical documentation, security monitoring, teamwork, foreign language documentation, decision-making, understanding of the Ministry of the Armed Forces, IT security, and English communication skills.
