1- THE ASSIGNMENT SERVICE

Main mission of the service: The Directorate of Project Management of Public Space comprises 5 entities, including the Art Works and Natural Risks Service (OARN). The mission of OARN is to pilot the definition and implementation of policies for managing art works and natural risks to ensure the use and protection of roads and metropolitan transportation infrastructure. It oversees project management, expertise, asset management, monitoring, and maintenance of associated structures.

2- OBJECTIVES OF THE POSITION

The Art Works & Natural Risks Service aims to become a reference expertise service for all questions related to the surveillance, maintenance, pathologies of Metropolitan Art Structures, and operations involving routine, specialized, major repairs, and demolitions-reconstructions. It is also the referent for all questions of sizing and management of supports, securing walls by nets, nailed walls, etc.

- Ensure project ownership of repair or construction operations

- Participate in asset management

3- ACTIVITIES AND TASKS

Activity 1: Ensure project ownership

  • After arbitration, manage project owner missions from hiring the project manager to project delivery
  • Lead large maintenance, renewal, construction, and modification operations of new structures
  • Develop tools to achieve service goals, including markets for studies, diagnostics, inspections, and works

Activity 2: Participate in management tools creation and asset management

  • Collaborate to build management tools (procedures, tracking tables, database information, surveys, and inventory of structures)
  • Monitor work for third parties or performed by third parties
  • Implement preventive and corrective maintenance policies
  • Propose and lead routine and specialized maintenance operations
