Realize tasks to ensure the respect of Stryker’s Objectives.
Ensure that manufactured products conform to the quality, delay, and quantity requirements and share knowledge with others.
Monitor the machine tool according to global or Stryker procedures for CN Worker.
Verify the Machining or Finishing operations to ensure respect for the specified tolerances.
Identify the dysfunction of the equipment and process.
Be the point of contact for Machining or Finishing processes in case of technical questions linked to the product.
Assume the responsibilities of the internal projects within the team.
Primary Responsibilities –
The position requires knowledge acquired through extensive experience and professional or academic training. It is managed by clearly defined procedures and tasks, as well as specific guidelines to facilitate decision-making. It requires a thorough knowledge of the procedures and routines applied in the relevant field. The candidate will be assigned to perform highly technical tasks independently while assuming responsibilities. The assigned tasks are defined within a very wide range of work routines.
- Ability to understand and respect all policies and procedures, including quality, and to work independently by applying process specifications.
- Perform independently predefined specific tasks.
- Support new product development and operations (e.g., Advanced Operations / Manufacturing Engineering).
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by identifying issues, collecting data for frequency tables, and suggesting improvements.
- Participate in lean improvement initiatives.
- Identify, implement, and track improvements until they are fully realized.
- For machining, set up the machine tool, monitor the machines, and perform various control operations.
- For finishing, perform different finishing and/or control operations.
- Work according to assigned training profile.
- Set up and operate basic equipment. Use appropriate equipment. Prepare workstation for specific requests.
- Complete related documents (MES, EAM, etc.).
- Ensure quality of parts.
- Participate in team continuous improvement initiatives by identifying issues and suggesting improvements.
- Responsible for equipment and cleanliness (TPM).
- Provide basic training to other employees up to their own level.
- Approve the results of the process (inspection during the process, completed products).
- Identify and report failures; may need to independently correct according to authorized process specifications.
- Maintain relationships within the Production team.
- Replace other positions for specific tasks (20% max).
