Position Description

Under the supervision of two experienced researchers, the laboratory technician will focus on cell culture work, semi-automated small molecule screening, and laboratory management duties. You will work within a team of research scientists and engineers from diverse backgrounds, including molecular biology, cellular biology, chemoinformatics, AI engineering, and drug design, collaborating with partners from private companies and public laboratories worldwide.

• Mammalian cell culture – maintain and manage databases;
• Prepare, calibrate, and implement multiple screening assays (Microtubule Bench and cell-based assays) involving laboratory automation and robotics;
• Molecular biology activities – capable of executing and documenting protocols such as sequencing, plasmid cloning, scaled preparation, and western blot, with high reproducibility and efficiency;
• SOP and Safety – develop, write, and revise document templates and SOPs, ensuring adherence to safety policies;
• General laboratory operations – maintain reagent inventories, monitor, calibrate, and clean equipment.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of two years experience in molecular and cell-based assays;
• Exceptional organizational, attention to detail, and documentation skills;
• Highly motivated, proactive, and initiative-driven;
• Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to collaborate with diverse scientific backgrounds in drug discovery;
• Honest, reliable, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow;
• Experience in private/industrial research and/or lab automation is a plus.
