The laboratory team’s mission is to meet consumer and customer expectations worldwide, while respecting key issues: quality, sustainability, responsibility, and performance.
Our site in Cléry-le-Petit, north of Verdun (55), has about ten dairy product packaging lines (yogurt, cream, cheese) and more than 310 employees.
Start date: as soon as possible.
Schedule: 3x8 shifts with day weekends on a rotation. Fixed-term contract that may lead to a permanent position.
Main responsibilities:- Prepare and inoculate various samples for analysis and interpret results.
- Collect water samples at defined points and ensure their analysis.
- Conduct ambient and environmental sampling in workshops.
- Perform pre-op and self-control checks before starting packaging lines.
- Measure disinfectant concentration in footbaths.
- Conduct analyses of fat content, dry extract, pH, texture, and viscosity.
- Verify finished product packaging and perform organoleptic controls.
- Create non-conformity reports.
- Prepare sampling schedules.
- Approve finished products and raw materials.
- Take metrological readings at the station: thermometer, balance, pH meter.
- Manage consumables and supplies.
Desired profile:- Laboratory experience and/or BTS, vocational high school, DUT in chemistry, microbiology, or food industry.
- Motivated, autonomous, rigorous individual with computer skills: Excel, Outlook.
- Knowledge of good laboratory practices and adherence to handling protocols.
- Knowledge of dairy products and the dairy industry.
- Good communication with team and other departments.
