Rehlko, based in Metz, is seeking a Field Service Technician to maintain, install, and repair our equipment. The role covers several departments across multiple sites, with frequent travel to customer locations and a high degree of autonomy to ensure customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has an electrical engineering or electrotechnics background, strong service orientation, and the ability to work with IT tools. Experience with generator sets is a plus.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Electrical Engineering or Electrotechnics is preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of generator sets is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on installed equipment fleet.
• Advise customers on correct use and maintenance of products.
• Carry out electrical and/or mechanical refurbishment work.
• Install, test, and commission equipment; support startup activities.
• Provide troubleshooting and on-call support in rotation.

Why You Will Love this Job

We are looking for a Field Service Technician to carry out the maintenance, installation, and repair of our equipment. Based at Metz service center, you will cover the following departments: 08/51/10/55/52/57/54/88.

You will serve as the primary point of contact for our customers, ensuring high-quality service while meeting company standards and deadlines. This position offers a unique opportunity to work across a wide variety of customer sites, with a high degree of autonomy and a key role in customer satisfaction.

In this role, your responsibilities may include:

• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance visits on our installed equipment fleet.
• Advising customers on the proper use and maintenance of our products.
• Carrying out electrical and/or mechanical refurbishment work.
• Adjusting, testing, and commissioning equipment installations.
• Performing start-up and commissioning activities.
• Contributing to the development of automation and control systems.
• Providing troubleshooting and emergency support to customers as part of an on-call rotation (on average, one week every six weeks).
• Reporting intervention activities and coordinating with Rehlko Services teams, including internal reporting, sales, and technical support.

Rehlko generator sets provide reliable standalone power solutions across a wide range of industries, including Data Centers, Healthcare, Agriculture, Construction, Mining, Water and Waste Treatment, Transportation, and more.

Profile

Ideally, a qualification in Electrical Engineering/Electrotechnics. Previous experience in a similar role within the fields of electrical engineering and/or mechanical maintenance. Strong customer service orientation. Enjoys building and maintaining customer relationships. Comfortable using IT tools and software. Knowledge of the generator set industry would be an advantage.
